The Indian railways is one of the largest modes of transport, that has some of the most diverse group of travellers from all walks of life; be it caste, gender or language. 

The Some in 8 Billion project, under the guidance of Claudius Schulze documented the diversity in the stories of workers, travellers, migrants and unemployed individuals that were inhabiting or frequented the railway stations of one particular city - Bangalore, Karnataka. Over a period of three weeks, these stories delved into the livelihoods of these individuals, their wages, their families and their beliefs. 

This project in partnership with National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad and Goeth Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, Bangalore culminated in a three week exhibition at the institution.
